50 years membership of the Caravan Club


At the first rally of 2018, at Culloden ,Don and Lena Aird, who were inaugural members of the Highland Centre in 1976, receive honorary lifelong membership of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and a plaque to celebrate 50 years as CC members, from Hamish Stuart, Scottish Caravan Club President.

7 Past Chairmen attended the Highland Centre 40th Anniversary Rally at Invernahavon Caravan Site.

Our own Hamish Stuart became President of the Scottish Caravan Club in October 2016. Hamish and his wife Joyce are dedicated to caravanning, to the Highland Centre and to SCC, where he will do his best for the Club and for caravanning.


We in the Highland Centre wish him well in his post.

Rules for the Rainy Rally Tankard

It is presented in recognition of the fact that, whilst all rally marshals work hard to run their rallies, a wet rally can cause extra work and problems for the marshal


1.To be presented annually at the AGM rally.

2.The period over which it will be judged will be from the AGM until the rally prior to the AGM the following year

3.To be presented to the Highland Centre Rally Marshal who has had to deal with the wettest weather during his/her rally

4.Award priority a)rain for the duration of the rally, b) rain for most of the rally, c) rain during the rally

5.Decision to be made by the Committee before the AGM rally at which it is to be awarded


The Murray Quaich

The Murray Quaich to be competed for and awarded annually at the AGM Rally in September , for the best Photo depicting the Spirit of Rallying.


The Stuart Shield.

The Stuart Shield to be awarded to the winner of the annual adult Boules competition at the AGM.


The Stuart Cup

The Stuart Cup to be awarded to the winner of annual junior Boules competition at

the AGM.
